Common questions
I can't log in
Drivers log in with the email or mobile number their company admin set up, using the password that admin gave them. If the password is not working, ask your admin to reset it from the Drivers screen in the web app. Admins who cannot get in should use the forgot password link on the login page. If the reset email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your junk folder before contacting us.
How do I add drivers or customers?
Log in to the web app at app.skippilot.com.au, open Drivers or Customers from the desktop, and use the Add button. Every driver needs login credentials, which are created at the same time as the driver record. Once created, the driver signs in on the mobile app with those details and their assigned jobs appear automatically.
The mobile app is not showing my jobs
First check you are signed in as the right driver, since a shared device can still be logged in as someone else. Confirm the phone has a working connection, then pull down on the job list to refresh. Jobs only appear once they have been assigned to you for that day, so an empty list early in the morning may simply mean the run has not been allocated yet. If jobs are assigned and still missing, send us a support request with the driver name and the date.
A driver is not receiving push notifications
Push notifications depend on the device registering with Apple or Google after the app is installed. Ask the driver to open the app once while connected to the internet, which refreshes the registration, and check that notifications are enabled for Skip Pilot in the phone settings. Most notification problems clear themselves the next time the driver opens the app. If they persist for more than a day, contact us with the driver name and phone model.
How do I change a job after it has been assigned?
Open the job from the Jobs screen in the web app and edit it as normal. The driver's phone picks up the change without them needing to do anything. If you are changing the address or the bin size on a job the driver has already started, call them as well, because they may already be on the road.
Can I use Skip Pilot on more than one device?
Yes. Your account works on any number of devices at the same time, so you can have the web app open in the office while a driver uses the mobile app in the truck. Everything is live, so a change made in the office appears on the driver's phone without either side refreshing.
How do I get my data out of Skip Pilot?
Your data belongs to your business. Invoices and job records can be exported from the relevant screens in the web app, and we can produce a full export of your account data on request. Contact support if you need something that is not available as an export from the interface.
How do I change or cancel my subscription?
Subscription changes are handled by our team rather than self-service. Send a request through the form with "Billing and subscription" selected, or call us, and we will confirm the change and when it takes effect. There are no lock-in contracts, so you are not tied to a minimum term.
What are your support hours?
Our team is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm AEST. We aim to respond to support requests within one business day. For anything urgent that is stopping you from running the day, call 0485 095 555 rather than using the form.
