What is skip bin software?

Can I see which bins are on site and which are in the yard?
Yes, and it is the question that costs the most money. Every bin has a location, a customer, a site and a clock running against it. The bin locator shows what is on the ground, how long it has been there, what is overdue for collection, and what is sitting in the yard ready to go back out. When somebody rings about their bin the answer is on the screen before they finish the sentence, so nobody sends a truck out to go looking.
Does it handle changeovers?
Yes. A changeover is the classic way a job goes missing: two visits, one bin out and one bin in, and if they are treated as unrelated then one of them quietly vanishes. Skip Pilot creates both legs as a linked pair from the start, so the collection and the delivery travel together through the run sheet, the driver's phone and the invoice.
Is there a driver app?
Yes. Drivers get their run on their phone, mark jobs delivered or collected, capture proof-of-delivery photos and add notes from the truck. Both apps are live: iOS on the App Store and Android on Google Play.
Do you have an admin mobile app?
Yes, we do. There is a proper bin management app for the people running the business, not just for drivers. Create a job, allocate it to a truck, move a run around, and check what is out and what is coming back, all from a phone in the yard or at a set of lights. It is on the App Store and Google Play, and nothing waits for you to be back at a desk.
Can customers book online?
Yes. You get a booking form you can embed straight into your own website, carrying your branding. A customer picks their bin size, waste type and date, and the job arrives as a real booking in your system rather than an email you have to retype at nine o'clock at night. It takes bookings around the clock, whether you are on a truck or asleep.
Can I see what I will need for tomorrow?
Yes. Skip Pilot reads your confirmed bookings and tells you what tomorrow actually needs: how many bins, which sizes, and which trucks they are going on. It looks a week ahead as well, so you can spot Thursday's shortage while there is still time to do something about it, and your bin inventory stays honest instead of being counted twice by torchlight.
Can I invoice from Skip Pilot?
Yes. Invoices are raised against the job with line items, GST and payment tracking, so what you delivered and what you billed always match. You can send the invoice as a PDF straight to the customer.
Does it work if I only have one truck?
Yes. Plenty of the operators using it run a single truck and a handful of bins, and wanted something they could learn in an afternoon. Others are adding trucks and drivers and needed it to keep up rather than be replaced within a year. It is the same platform either way, so growing does not mean starting again.
Where is my data stored?
In Australia. Skip Pilot runs on Australian infrastructure with the production database hosted in Sydney, secure connections throughout, and your data kept to your business alone. It is all in the cloud, so there is nothing to install and nothing to back up: log in from the office computer, the ute or a laptop at home and you are looking at the same live information.
Does it only do skip bins?
